All Hindus made criminals in Congress Communal Bill?

The PCTV Bill (56 pages) is based on presumption that all Hindus are criminals and communal riots are always committed only by Hindus and never by minorities. This law can be invoked only against Hindus by minorities. Muslims, Christians called “the Group” in the bill (sec 3.e).

If they commit violence and hate against Hindus they cannot be booked under this new law as they are exempt from it even though Hindus practice “ahimsa parmodharma” – non violence is the highest religion as preached by Budha, Mahveer and Gandhi

Jammu: RSS Joint General Secretary Sri Dattatreya Hosable was speaking at a discussion on the Bill organised by Trikuta Samvad Kendra in Jammu recently. “The Communal Violence Bill will strike at the root of nation’s unity, weaken the social fabric of the country, widen the gulf between majority and minority communities and will endanger the integrity of our country,” Shri Hosabale mentioned adding that the Bill will neither serve any purpose for the society nor for the country.

Coming down heavily over the proposed National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC) by the Centre, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) on Wednesday asked the Union Government to roll back its decision to form the anti-terror agency.


Speaking to mediapersons here, VHP executive president Pravin Bhai Tagodia said UPA Government at the Centre was not sincere enough in stamping out terrorism from the country and asked if the Centre was sincere, why it removed the Prevention of Terrorism Act (POTA).

Saints to protest Communal Violence Bill: VHP PDF Print E-mail

Tiruchirappalli: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad Sunday said saints and seers across the country would launch a series of agitations from April this year to protest against the proposed Communal Violence Bill of the Central government.

The proposed Prevention of Communal and Targeted Violence (Access to Justice and Reparations) Bill-2011 was being opposed by all BJP-ruled states and many other states not ruled by the Congress or the BJP, VHP International President Ashok Singhal said.
